Constipation is one of the important problems which is being faced by a large number of people. Many factors are responsible for constipation, but some prominent causes are less physical activity, a minimum intake of water, dietary fibre and roughage, stress, and heavy intake of non-veg. Cure Constipation Naturally

Water: Water is essential to cure constipation. It is recommended that one should drink 8-10 glasses of water every day. Drinking more and more water early in the morning on an empty stomach, followed by light exercises, is highly beneficial for the entire digestive system. Normal water should be preferred, especially overnight water in a copper vessel. Drinking water is one of the essential tips to get treated for constipation.

 

Green and Leafy Vegetables: Fresh and leafy vegetables help cure constipation.  These fresh vegetables have abundant fibre and roughage, which ease digestion and help in constipation treatment.

Pears: Pears have adequate non-soluble fibre, which is good for digestion. Pears are one of the best sources of fibre, which helps eliminate constipation. Pears contain many bio-chemicals like pectin, sorbitol, etc., which are helpful in remedies for constipation.  Pears may also be given to babies to cure baby constipation.

Banana: Due to the presence of pectin as a hydrocolloid, plentiful fibre in the banana helps in easy bowel movement and eases constipation.

Papaya: Papaya contains proteolytic enzymes such as papain and chymopapain, which facilitate better digestion and are natural remedies for constipation. The high dietary fibre percentage also helps reduce constipation’s signs and symptoms. It is also suggested that Apple should eat papaya on an empty stomach to have a better result.

Lemon: Lemon is one of the essential Ayurvedic fruits used in many cases. Lemon can be taken at any time. People suffering from constipation should take lemon in the morning on an empty stomach and lukewarm water. Lemon can also be taken during lunch and dinner time.

Morning Walk: Drinking lukewarm water followed by a morning walk may act like a constipation panacea. If one does walk or a brisk walk in the morning, does it enable bowel movement, thereby relieving constipation?

Milk: Milk also relieves constipation. To have a better result of milk, one should drink lukewarm milk after dinner at night.

Yoga: Yoga is good for effectively managing and curing constipation and constipation-related problems. Yoga like Bhujanasana, Pavan Muktasana, Halasana, Naukasana, Trikonasana, Kapalbhati, and Pranayama is highly beneficial in curing constipation.
