Constipation Relief through Home Remedies

Constipation is one of the important problems, which is being faced by a large number of people. There are many factors responsible for constipation but some of the prominent causes of constipation are less physical activity, a minimum intake of water, dietary fiber and roughage, stress, heavy intake of non-veg. and dietary products.

Cure Constipation Naturally

Water: Water is very important to cure constipation. It is recommended that one should drink 8-10 glasses of water every day. Drinking water more and more quantity of water early morning on empty stomach and followed by light exercises is extremely beneficial for the entire digestive system. Normal water should be preferred, especially water keeping in a copper vessel overnight. Drinking water is one of the important tips to get treated for constipation.

Green and Leafy Vegetables: Fresh green and leafy vegetables are very useful in curing constipation.  These fresh vegetables are having an abundant amount of fiber and roughage, which ease digestion and helps in constipation treatment.

Pears: Pears have an adequate amount of non-soluble fiber which is good for the digestion process. Pears are one of the best sources of fiber, which helps in getting rid of constipation. Pears contain many bio-chemicals like pectin, sorbitol, etc., which are helpful in remedies of constipation.  Pears may also be given to babies to cure baby constipation.

Banana: Due to the presence of pectin as hydrocolloid, and plentiful of fiber in the banana helps in easy movement of the bowel thereby eases constipation.

Papaya: Papaya contains proteolytic enzymes such as papain and chymopapain which facilitate better digestion and used as natural remedies for constipation. The high dietary fiber percentage also helps to reduce the signs and symptoms of constipation. It is also suggested that Apple should papaya should be eaten on empty stomach to have a better result.

Orange: Oranges are known for fiber, which is effective in managing constipation related problems and ease good digestion.

Grapes: Grapes are having a fair amount of cellulose which is good for constipation treatment. Grapes also contain organic acid and sugars which solve the problems of stomach disorders.

Apple: Everybody knows about the proverb “An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away”. Apple is used in curing and management of many diseases. Due to its fibrous nature, it is good for bowel movement.

Pineapple Juice: Pineapple juice contains bromelain which is beneficial for digestion and smooth functioning of the digestive system. It helps to solve the problem of indigestion and also controls more acidity in the stomach. Thus, it helps to ease constipation.

Lemon: Lemon is one of the very important ayurvedic fruits that are used in many cases. Lemon can be taken at any time. The person, who is suffering from constipation, should take lemon in the morning on empty stomach along with lukewarm water. Lemon can also be taken during lunch and dinner time.

Morning Walk: Drinking lukewarm water followed by a mooning walk may acts like a panacea for constipation. If one does walk or brisk walk in the morning enable to bowel movement thereby relieve constipation?

Milk: Milk also relieves constipation. To have a better result of milk, one should drink lukewarm milk after dinner at night.

Yoga: Yoga is good for effective management and curing of constipation and constipation related problems. Yoga like Bhujanasana, Pavan Muktasana, Halasana, Naukasana, Trikonasana, Kapalbhati, and Pranayama is extremely beneficial in curing constipation.

Aspaghol: Aspaghol may be taken along with milk at bedtime to get relief from constipation.

Coconut Oil: Coconut oil in diet is one of the good tips to get rid of constipation. Fruits Juices is also helpful in this condition.

Copper Vessel Water: Copper vessel water kept overnight is beneficial for constipation.

Bael Fruit: Bael fruit is extremely beneficial in curing constipation.

Soup: Soup and boiled vegetables are simple ways to get relief from constipation.
