Yoghurt Rice Recipe

The Curd rice recipe is one of the favourite Dahi recipes across India, especially cherished by the people of South India. For preparing curd rice, it is suggested to take quality rice weighing 250 grams. Boil the rice and make it cool before mixing other ingredients. The proportions of other components should be as follows: Curd (250 gm), Curry leaves (4-5), Vegetable cooking oil (3 tsp), Water (1 litre), Mustard seeds (1tsp), Chilly (½ tsp).  Mix curd with rice. Heat the vegetable oil in a frypan and mix mustard seeds, dried red chillies, and curry leaves until all the components become red. Add this mixture with a mix of rice and curd. Mix it properly and serve with pickle. Sugar or salt may also be added for taste purposes. It has many health benefits. A person who is underweight or feeling weak may make this recipe regularly.

How to make Dahi Bhalla ?

Dahi Bhalla or Paapri Chaat is one of the popular curd recipes among Indians. Dahi Bhalla is made from paapri, bhallas, chutney, and dahi. For preparing the paper, ingredients like maida, oil, ajwain, and salt for taste have to be arranged. Mix all these ingredients as per the requirement and make dough for chapati. Now, fry these chapattis to make papers.  In making bhallas, moong, urad, zeera, and oil are arranged and before grinding both the pulses, soak them well in water for 2 to 3 hours. Mix it well till it becomes fluffy and pummel. Fry the pummel until it becomes brown. Chutney is prepared preferably from coriander and pudina leaves. Sweet chutney is also ready from tamarind and sugar. Ingredients: Beetroot (50 grams), Curd (150 grams), and 50 grams of fresh pomegranate seeds

Seasoning: ½ tsp of sugar, salt, and pepper to taste

Method: Grate beetroot. Beat the curd well. Now add sugar, salt, and pepper to the beaten curd. Add beetroot and pomegranate seeds. Mix well. Chill and serve.

Method: Chop cucumbers coarsely; Beat curd well. Mix cucumbers with curd, adding salt. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, asafetida, curry leaves, cumin powder, and salt. Pour the seasoning over the curd. Mix well. Cool and serve.

How to Prepare Bottle Gourd Raita?

Ingredients:  In making Bottle Gourd raita, 50 grams of tender bottle gourd, 1 cup of curd, 2 tsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of chaat masala, salt to taste, and 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds are required as ingredients.

Method of preparation: First, wash the gourd to remove dust and dirt. Peel and grate the gourd, followed by boiling till it becomes tender. Squeeze out water. Mix in lemon juice and chill. Beat curd in a bowl; add salt and cumin seeds. Add chilled gourd. Sprinkle chaat masala on top to make it delicious.
