Why Naturopathy Centres in India Are Gaining Popularity
Naturopathy is one of the six systems of medicine under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. It is a drugless, holistic approach that uses nature’s elements — food, water, air, sunlight, mud, and exercise — to support the body’s own healing capacity. Over the last decade, the demand for naturopathy treatment in India has grown significantly, particularly for lifestyle disorders such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension, arthritis, and stress-related conditions.
The Government of India has established several premier naturopathy institutions across the country, including the National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN) in Pune and Central Research Institutes of Yoga and Naturopathy (CRIYN) in Delhi, Haryana, and Karnataka. Alongside these, many private and trust-run centres have earned a strong reputation for their facilities and treatment protocols.
This guide lists 30 of the best naturopathy centres in India, organised by region, with details of their location, facilities, and contact information. Use the tables to quickly find a centre near you or in a region you wish to visit.

How to Choose the Right Naturopathy Centre
With so many options available, choosing the right centre depends on your specific health needs, budget, and preferences. Here are some practical tips:
- Check Accreditation: For government centres, verify affiliation with the Ministry of AYUSH. For private centres, look for recognition from CCRYN or NIN.
- Verify Facilities: Contact the centre directly to confirm the current facilities, as some information online may be outdated. Ask about the specific therapies offered for your condition.
- Understand the Treatment Approach: Naturopathy centres vary in their approach — some are strictly nature-cure based, while others integrate Ayurveda, Yoga, or physiotherapy. Choose one that aligns with your needs.
- Check Costs: Government centres are generally very affordable, while private wellness resorts can be premium. Confirm charges, duration, and what is included before booking.
- Consult Your Doctor: If you have a diagnosed medical condition, consult your treating physician before starting a naturopathy programme. Naturopathy works best as a complementary therapy, not as a replacement for medical treatment.
