The Importance Of Spiritual Healing And How To Deal With It

It is impossible for a Christian to conceive that an atheist can be spiritual. Even for a certain type or group of Christians, other Christians are not spiritual. In judging who is spiritual or what it means to be spiritual, each human group is blinded by its own definition, its own creed, and thus imposes a prejudice that is generally harmful to the other. In the East it is not uncommon to conceive of a spirituality without God: and in fact such spirituality has existed for more than two thousand years, long before Islam and Christianity arose. Two of the great religions of the heart of Asia lack a notion of the Supreme Creator God: in Buddhism it does not exist and in Daoism, although the idea of the Dao is often confused with the idea of a creator god, in reality it is not defined Nor does he identify with that idea. Everyone who has studied the Dao Te King will have learned that the Dao is not a god, it is something deeper, impersonal and unintentional, more or less like the concept of the Nibbána of the Buddhists proposed by some Indian leaders.

The problem with the word spirituality, in the context of the creationist deist religions that predominate in the West, is that it does not want to separate itself from the idea of spirit. Or put another way, the spirit referred to in the word spirituality is not equal to the spirit spoken of in the East for more than three millennia, although the East also has that sense incorporated in its religious and philosophical cultural background. The word spirit is richer in meaning, deeper and more extensive in its semantics, than the word spirit of Westerners. For a Christian, a Muslim, and a Jew, spirituality cannot be detached from God because the spirit he refers to is something given by God, created and sustained by God. It is even an extension of God in the human being. But for a Daoist or a Buddhist or a Confucianist, spirituality does not refer to a spirit that comes from God or was created by God. It refers to the deep and transcendental dimension of human existence that they describe as appellants as heart, soul, essence. And in the context of health, spirituality has a deeper influence than what many people think. Spiritual healing is an important factor in one’s health.

Spiritual healing or sometimes called energy healing can be done by people who have achieved a certain degree of spirituality or transcendent consciousness. These people can transmit that energy to others and affect some of the aspects of their bodies or states of consciousness.

According to this level of  knowledge, there are four bodies or states of consciousness:
spiritual healing

1) The dense physical body: which includes all the organs and functions that allow the soul to express itself.

2) The etheric body: that vitalizes and energizes the physical body and that it is a network of energy currents through which the cosmic forces flow.

3) The astral or emotional body, which includes pain, pleasure, fear, anger and love.

4) The mental body, which is where 5% of modern diseases originate.

90% of the pathologies have their cause in the etheric and astral body and the four bodies are part of a single mechanism. In fact, science has shown the influence of stress, that is, of the emotional factor, in large part of the most serious diseases.

The current man is essentially emotional, therefore, the causes of most pathologies are found in the astral or emotional body. Health problems originating in the astral or emotional body can be attributed, except in exceptional cases, to increased stimuli, lack of vitality, the scope of feelings and desires (frustrated or overly gratified), to failures in character, to irritability, and deep disappointments, to hidden pleasures and impulses.

Difficulties are caused by the desire to be and possess and by the lack of knowledge that man has of his most subtle purposes.

Commonly, a spiritual healer requires mastering these knowledge:

1) the causes of diseases.

2) the methods of spiritual healing depending on the characteristics of both the curator and the patient.

3) psychological healing according to the patient’s internal life; because the art of the healer is to free the soul so that life flows freely again. This work is of the same nature as the attempt of scientists to release the energy of the atom, because in this liberation is the nature of the true art of healing.

4) The curator must act from the causes of the internal world to the causes of the phenomena of the external world.

Everything that relates to health originates:

1) in the experience of the three subtle bodies (energetic, emotional and mental) that the physical body experiences.

2) in the effect that produces in each individual the situation in which humanity is as a whole.

3) in the effects produced by planetary life, which we still do not understand, but from which we perceive influence.

Group healing work is the main objective of this method; and it is necessary that the groups be in harmony, with an attitude of love and union and with the intention of providing the best of themselves; and that the curator has a good relationship with his patients, because that link helps his purposes.

A curator must have magnetism, that is, the ability to exert influence; and know how to radiate confidence, empathy and the energy of your soul, your mind, your emotional body and your vital body, that is, your total body; and this he achieves with meditation.

By radiating energy from his perfectly balanced mind, the healer stimulates the patient’s soul and mind, polarizing his will; he activates his emotional body from his own properly controlled and selfless emotional body, returning the rhythm to his imbalance; and from the strict correction of his vital body, he helps him organize his physical forces.

When the healer has magnetism and is able to radiate the strength of his soul to the patient, he can achieve total healing or the optimal mental state that will allow him to continue living better with his medical condition.

The art of spiritual healing implies a total surrender of body, mind, life force and unconditional love; just as a mother recently revived her newborn son, who had been pronounced dead, hugging him against her bare chest.

The soul is not a subject only of poets. Doctors and scientists surrender to the evidence of the existence of that entity full of wisdom. Learning to connect the spirit with the body is the right way to achieve well-being and happiness.

1. Reiki

It is a practice created in 1922 by the Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui and adapted and developed by various masters of different traditions. Practitioners lay their hands on the person while concentrating on transferring them “universal energy”, which favors self-healing. There are already several public hospitals that include reiki in cancer treatments and against menopause discomfort.

2. Prayer and healing at a distance

A study from the Duke University Medical Center tested the efficacy of prayer and distance healing. The researchers asked groups of religious to pray for the health of patients undergoing cardiac operations. The results indicated that there was a 30-50% improvement in the health of the patients, with fewer complications and heart failures.

3. Meditation and visualization

It can be practiced alone or in a group. Relax, relativize the usual concerns, reduce fear and anguish and, above all, increase the ability to concentrate, self-knowledge and confidence in one’s own intuition. Meditations that focus on positive emotions are especially effective.

4. Anthroposophical medicine

Based on the vision of man according to the philosopher Rudolf Steiner, who combined traditions from East and West. Understand that we are the result of the superposition of different bodies or dimensions: physical, emotional and etheric or spiritual. Spiritual evolution and health are related.

5. Neo-shamanic techniques

They recover ancient indigenous traditions and adapt them to current times. The “vision quest” is the objective of psychological rituals, practices and dynamics that use contact with nature, meditation, fasting, breathing techniques, plants with psychic effects or group support, among other methods . Everyone has some influence on the depths of consciousness.

We hope by reading this article you can better understand what spiritual healing is.
