Nandana Sen’s Biography
Nandana Sen is a well-known fame international celebrity. Nandana Sen is the daughter of Economist Nobel Prize winner Amartya Sen and Nabanita Dev Sen. Nandana Sen born in kolkata on August 19, 1967. She got her education from Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Less Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and Harvard University. She was in relationship with Ghajini producer Madhu Mantena, the Bollywood producer for nine years. Nandana Sen shifted to New York and the couple has to end their relation due to long distance and other reasons. Of late, the actress, secretly married to John Makinson who is in the 50’s, the CEO of Penguin Publishing. There is a report that Johan Makinson who met Nandana Sen in November 2012, and started dating.

Nandana Sen’s first movie was ‘The Doll’ under the direction of Gautam Ghosh. She has worked for Hollywood, Bollywood and Italian movie too. Some of important movies of Nandana Sen’s are The Doll (1997), Forever (1999), Seducing Maarya (2000), The Miracle: A Silent Love Story (2004), The War Within (2005), My Wife’s Murder (2005), Tango Charlie (2005), Black (2005), Strangers (2007), Marigold (2007), Rang Rasiya (2008), The Forest (2009), Perfect Mismatch (2009), Autograph (2010), Prince (2010) and Jhootha Hi Sahi (2010). The British Television series ‘Sharpe’ in the episode Sharpe’s Peril made her more popular among the audiences. She debuted in Bollywood with Black where she played the jealous sister of Rani Mukherjee.

Ketan Mehta’s Rang Rasiya’s lead actress Nandana Sen was in the news due to her powerful and hot roles as a Sugandha where she was playing the Raja Ravi Varma’s muse in the film. The role of Raja Ravi Varma who was the 19th century painter is being played by Randeep Hooda. To give 100 percent in the film, Nandana Sen gain few extra kilos for the movie. The actress Nandana Sen said that bareness in her upcoming film Rang Rasiya means a form of women empowerment. When the body is depicted in an objectionable manner, it shows degeneration to women.
